Phillip Wade Patterson, 48, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

He was born on March 2, 1969 in Dyersburg, TN to Thomas Patterson and May Joan McBride Schrider.

He was a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital.

Phillip graduated from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene High School and was also a graduate from the University of Memphis. He was an avid marathon runner and surfer. Phillip served his country in the United States Navy.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Joan and Joe Schrider of Memphis; his father and step-mother, Tom and Paula Patterson of Murfreesboro; a sister, Stacy Jo Pehau and husband, David, of San Diego, CA; a nephew, Anton Pehau of San Diego, CA; and a niece, Marissa Pehau of San Diego, CA.

Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Permenter, Terry Permenter, James Permenter, Ewell Permenter, Kyle Patterson and Richard Viar.
