Dwight Price, 81, of Billy Goat Hill Road in Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away November 20, 2017 of natural causes. He was born September 24, 1936 in Acton, Texas to the late Hugh Gatha and Avis Naomi Carter Price.

He was a retired auto mechanic, police officer, rancher, private airplane pilot, and realtor. He was in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Kentucky. He was a 33 Degree Mason and part of the Hella Shrine in Dallas. He was a past president of Henderson Co., TX Board of Realtors. He was a member of US Coast Guard Auxiliary 514.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Lee Poteet Price in 1996; two brothers, Hugh Gatha Price and Truitt Evalyn Price; one sister, Mildred Irene Price Moore and one grand daughter, Brittany Lynn Price.

Survivors include three sons, Dwight Lee, Randy Leon and Ronny Daren Price, one brother, Johnny Price of Granbury; ten grand children and eight great-grand children.

Graveside services will be held November 27, 2017 at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.
