Jerry Wayne Browning, 55, of St. Charles, Mo. formerly of Jefferson City, Mo., went home to be with his Lord Sunday, March 18, 2007. Jerry was born July 28, 1951, in El Dorado, Kan. to Johnny and Helen Browning. Jerry was a loving son who enjoyed flying, music and a good practical joke. He was a 1973 graduate of Pittsburg State University. He married his college sweetheart, Janice Kay Harry, July 28, 1973, in Pittsburg, Kan., who preceded him in death May 6, 1996. They raised two daughters together. Jerry was given the gift of love again in his wife Lisa Marz-Browning, whom he wed September 1, 1999. Jerry is survived by his wife, Lisa; his daughters and sons-in-law, Jennilee and Paul Miller and Juliann and Josh Tarbet; father Johnny; brother Randy both of El Dorado; his step-sons and daughter-in-law, Justin and Jennifer Marz, Sean Marz and Aaron Marz; and his adoring grandson, Jayden Browning Tarbet. He was preceded in death by mother Helen and brother Tim. Visitation will be held at Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery El Dorado, Kan. A memorial has been established with The Gideons International. Contributions may be left at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home who is helping with the arrangements in El Dorado.
