Cleve Allee, age 96, of California, Mo., passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, at Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo. He was born May 1, 1910, in Moniteau County, Mo., the son of Albert and Leona Barry Allee, who preceded him in death. He was married August 11, 1935, in Russellville, Mo., to Clara Louise Lachner, who passed away April 7, 2001. He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church north of California, Mo. Survivors include one son, Bill Allee with his wife Donna of Shelbina, Mo.; one daughter, Sharron Schneiders with her husband Mike of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, Cecil Allee of California, Mo.; one sister, Lois Genevieve Vogel of California, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Allee; one granddaughter; five brothers; and one sister. Services will be held at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Service, Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Morrow. Burial will be in California City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to charity of the donor's choice; or Preferred Hospice, 1900 N. Providence Road, Columbia, MO 65202. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Service, California, Mo.
