Roger W. Ellison, 82, of Loves Park, IL passed away Thurs., Nov. 1, 2007, in Northwood Care Center in Belvidere, IL. Born Nov. 10, 1924, in Rockford to Reinhold and Augusta (Freeberg) Ellison, married Jeanne Valerius in 1947. He was a Boone County resident for 32 years. Roger was employed by United Technologies, was on the Deacon board at First Evangelical Covenant Church, belonged to the Boone County Farm Bureau and loved landscaping.

Survivors include wife, Jeanne; sons, Ron (Chriss), Robert (Pat) and Bruce (Valorie); two grandchildren.
