Valeria J. Browning, 78, of Natrona Heights died Monday, May 16, 2005 in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
Born June 3, 1926, in Springdale, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kuras Rudzki.
Mrs. Browning was a secretary in the accounting department at Oberg Industries in Buffalo Township for 19 years before retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Worship Site, Natrona Heights, and the church Ladies Guild. Mrs. Browning enjoyed playing cards with her friends and taking trips to Atlantic City.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Barbara Browning of New Kensington, Betsy (Gary) Scott of Cheswick, Beverly (Alan) Edwards of Lower Burrell, and Bonnie (Bill) Walling of Lower Burrell; 5 grandchildren, Lisa Wakeman, Jon Walling, Stefanie Scott, and Amanda and Kristen Edwards; 2 great-grandsons, Carter Wakeman and Ethan Walling; a brother, Joseph (Garnet) Rudzki of Cheswick; and a sister, Helen Olls of Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Browning on October 27, 1971.
Friends will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the CICHOLSKI - ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Worship Site.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer.
