Peggy was born the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Anna (Wright) Martin on December 9, 1935, in Danville. She married Robert Grigsby in Danville. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Sabra Grigsby of Danville and Christine (Edward) Sumila of Danville; three sons, William (Brenda) Grigsby of Westville, Tim (Cindy) Grigsby of Oakwood and Steve Grigsby of Paris, Illinois; one brother, Donald (Ruth) Martin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Richard, Ralph "Butch" and David Martin.
Peggy was a member of Second Church of Christ and worked as a CNA at St Elizabeth Hospital and Colonial Manor. She loved to read, shopping, traveling, working crossword puzzles, spending time with her two dogs and watching her grandchildren play ball.
