Mrs. Marie V. Teeuwe, 86, formerly of the Hammerstone Village Apartments died Thursday at the Bassett Hospital of Schoharie after a short illness.
Mrs. Teeuwe was born on Long Island. She live at the Hammerstone Village Apartments for 10 years before moving to the Marchand Manor Adult Home in Sharon Springs, NY in August of 1996.
Before that, Mrs. Teeuwe resided at the Valley Mobile Home Park in Middleburg and on a farm on Route 30 A in Esperance.
She was a member of the Cobleskill congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses.
She was married to William Teeuwee from Oct. 31 1928 until his death in 1969.
Survivors include two sons. Ernest Teeuwe of Iberbville. La. and David Teeuwe of Seattle, Washington.
