Andrew M. “Tiny” Mitchell, 28, of Grand Island, NE, died unexpectedly, at his home, on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Services will be Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Russell Wolf will officiate. Interment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Tiny was born September 26, 1989, in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was the son of Todd E. Mitchell and Tammy Jo (Hoffman) Heaton.

Survivors of the immediate family include his father and step-mother, Todd and Tara Mitchell of Las Vegas, NV

Andrew lived all his life in Grand Island. He graduated from GISH in 2008. He was a student athlete, playing football all through high school. He continued his schooling at CCC-Grand Island Campus and American Public University. He was employed as a server at Olive Garden and a deliver driver for Domino’s Pizza. At the time of his death he was self-employed in sales marketing.

Tiny had a close personal relationship with Jesus. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and playing X-Box with his best buddy, “Slayer” Guy Estes.

He attended Third City Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Galen L. Hoffman, cousin, and best friend, Raini Mitchell.
