CAROLYN JANE FISHER NEWSOM
was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on October 25, 1942, the daughter of the late Cleveland Ray and Neva Sue Culp Fisher.
On October 4, 1984, she was united in marriage to Billy Neal Newsom, who preceded his wife in death on March 20, 2012.
Carolyn retired from Park Rest Nursing Home where she worked as a Dietary Manager. She was a member of Savannah Church of God. Carolyn loved going to church and in her spare time enjoyed playing bingo.
She departed this life on November 19, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 years and 25 days.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Jimmy Lynn Patterson and his wife Nancy of Saltillo, Tennessee, Timmy Lee Patterson and his wife Malinda of Sardis, Tennessee, Martin Dwight Patterson and his wife Janet of Lexington, Tennessee and Amanda Carol Franks and her husband Brandon of Savannah, Tennessee.
