Susie Mae Golden Jones, daughter of Louise Garrett and Leroy Golden, born November 25, 1931 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
"Sue Jones," graduated from Haines Institute, attended Savannah State College and was an educator for over 30 years. She was joined in matrimony to the late Dr. Frank Jones. From this union, they had four children.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Col. Maxie), Dr. Frank (Dr. Jada), Reverend Keith and Kimberly; seventeen grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Elim Baptist Church, 2359 Mount Auburn Avenue, Reverend George C. Miller, III, pastor, Reverend Jennifer Jones Presley, eulogist. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
