Brenda Joyce Dearman, 66, of Springdale, died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born November 7, 1951 in Kingston to Walter Ernest and Weltha Bell White Johnson. Brenda was a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and extremely generous to people including complete strangers. The love of her life was her granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, David Dearman, whom she married May 30, 1970; one daughter, Kacee Scott and husband Jason, and their daughter, Olivia Belle; three sisters, Alice Spears (James) of Ft. Smith, Ora Faye Chamlee (Fred) of Tontitown, Linda Chamlee of Springdale; and one brother, Rex Johnson (Reta) of Springdale. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Gerald Johnson; and two sisters, Ruth Cornelison and Betty Bond.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be at Silent Grove Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to either Circle of Life Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
