They moved to Dallas, Texas in 1951, where they remained until 1972 (except for one year in Louisiana). They lived in California and Oklahoma before settling in Denver, Colorado, where they lived for 30 years. Their final move was to Skiatook, Oklahoma in 2010. Don was predeceased in death by his wife, Mary who went to her Eternal Rest on November 2, 2012. They were married for 63 years.
Don attended Bryant College where he earned a degree in accounting. He worked as an accountant for Republic Natural Gas, Mobile Oil, Reserve Oil, and retired from Forest Oil in 1983.
Don is survived by his five children and their spouses: Barbara Ann (Little) Larsen, Patricia Ann Little/Larry Burford, Pamela Jean (Little) McCune/David McCune, Don Kelsey Little, Jr., and Cynthia Diane Little. His legacy lives on in his 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and many extended family members.
