Fabrice was born in 1916, about seven miles east of Farmerville, the second daughter of George W. Boatright and Lizzie Dean Boatright. She attended Hopewell School in the 1920s, with Willie Brantley Love being her teacher for most of her schooling. On 4 March 1933, she and Woodrow Hudson eloped to El Dorado along with his brother, John T. Hudson and his fiancé.

Fabrice Boatright Hudson primarily lived along the Ward's Chapel Road about seven miles east of Farmerville for most of her life. Her family moved to Mansfield and Jonesboro for a few years starting about 1944, but they returned to Union Parish a few years later. Fabrice raised her children and cared for sick family members. She was devastated by the tragic death of her youngest son, Ted Hudson, at age eighteen in 1962.

Fabrice Boatright Hudson was a devoted member of the Ward's Chapel Church of Christ Church near her home, regularly attending services twice a week for most of her life. She loved to cook, and family members today especially remember and miss her incredible fudge and chocolate cake.

Due to declining health, Fabrice moved to Florida in 1993 to be closer to her daughter. She died there in November 1997. Fabrice Boatright Hudson is buried in the Taylor/Liberty Hill Cemetery near Farmerville where so many of her relatives are also buried.
