Lawson, Jr. 73, of Lexington will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the chapel. Memorials may be made to Lexington Baptist Church, Samaritans Purse Fund.
William was born on May 6, 1940 in Rock Hill, SC., to the late William G. Lawson, Sr. and Helen Ferguson Lawson and passed away on Thursday January 23, 2014.
William served our country in the Marine Corp. He was a former truck driver for many years and was a devoted member othe Lexington Baptist Church and to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Tara Labeth Lawson of Lexington; brother, Phillip Lawson of Gilbert and sister, Christine Mack of Delaware. William is predeceased by a son, John Lawson and his sister Elizabeth Gayle Lawson.
