Carl E. Vincent, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 18, 2017) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 5, 1925 in Grayson County, KY, the son of Doll and Ollie Meredith Vincent.
He was a retired supervisor for the Kentucky State Highway Department, who enjoyed bowling and fishing; he was a 60 plus year member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge # 236 and a member of the New Harmony United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bertie Whobrey Vincent, two brothers, Don of Leitchfield and Dale Vincent of Smiths Grove KY and sisters, Margie and Mabel Whobrey both of Leitchfield.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonzo, Johnny, Rubin and Buell Vincent.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (November 22, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
