Marcia Prescott Parker, 84 of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday morning at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery on Tuesday at 2 PM with Reverend Cindy Duffus officiating.
Marcia is survived by son Daniel “Danny” Parker of Sneads Ferry, son Frederick B. Parker III of Long Beach, CA, daughter Jane Parker of Wilmington, and son Steve Parker of Burlington, NC, brothers Jim Prescott of Auburn, WY, brother Craig Prescott of San Leandro, CA, sister Heather Kepler of Ahwahnee, CA and brother Steve Prescott of Cupertino, CA, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with one due any day.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick B. Parker, Jr., and her parents Ronald and Dorothy Prescott.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday after the service at the residence.
