Funeral services for Mrs. Neta Pearl Chapman of Rocky Branch, LA will be 11:00am Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. David Cassady and Bro. Mickey Bounds officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Monday, November 20, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chapman was born June 13, 1939 in Nashville, AR and passed from this life on November 18, 2017 in Farmerville, LA at the age of 78.

She is preceded in death by one son, Jimmy “Bo” Chapman; her parents, Calvin Jewel Cassady, Cloe Vera Jones Cassady and Ruby Odessa Walker; two brothers, Gene Cassady and Charlie Robert Cassady; and five sisters, Edith Bennett, Revel Corbell, Lola Jewel Deal, Betty Ruth Bowles and Helen Rogers.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bobby Ray Chapman of Rocky Branch; two sons, Kenneth “Sam” Chapman and wife, Melinda of Ormond Beach, FL and Calvin Chapman and wife, Melanie of Rocky Branch; two brothers, David Cassady and wife, Sue of Nashville, AR and Loy “Butch” Cassady and wife, Judy of Nashville, AR; two sisters, Janis Kist and husband, Ron of Dardenelle, AR and Mildred Locke of California; six grandchildren, Chris Anderson and wife Ann of West Monroe, Wade Chapman and wife, Jamie of West Monroe, Kristin Green and husband, Travis of Rocky Branch, Chelsea McPherson and husband, Chase of Farmerville, Allen Chapman of West Monroe and Justin Chapman of Rocky Branch; seven great-grandchildren, Michelle Newton, Adalyn Chapman, Audrey Harris, Isabella Carrasco, Kenlee Anderson, Tucker McPherson and Amelia Green; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Wade Chapman, Chris Anderson, Travis Green, Chase McPherson, Allen Chapman and Justin Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Chapman, James “Bimbo” Chapman, Dickie Chapman and Gary Chapman.
