Armand F. Goddyn, age 85 of Blissfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Blissfield Place Assisted Living. He was born on July 24, 1932 to Henri and Alida (Jacques) Goddyn. On March 26, 1952, Armand married Barbara Lee Howard in Monroe, Michigan. They celebrated 58 wonderful years of marriage before her passing on October 16, 2010. Armand worked for a long time as a Mechanic in Blissfield.
He is survived by 2 sons, Armand "Butch" (Jan) Goddyn and Michael (Deanna) Goddyn; 1 daughter, Brenda (Bill) Evans of Adrian, MI; grandchildren, Heather (Forrest) Couch, Daniel Goddyn and Kodi (Ben) Bone and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barb, his parents, step mother, Emily Goddyn, three sisters, Adelene Belprez, Julia Gust, and Madeline Poling.
Visitation for Armand will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
