Sister Bay - Services were held last week Wednesday from the Casperson funeral home and from the local Lutheran church for Mrs. Chris (Amelia Louise) Anderson, 71, who died in the Sturgeon Bay hospital May 12. The Rev. E. T. Anderson, former pastor here, came from Oconomowoc to conduct the service and burial was in Little Sister cemetery.
Mrs. Charles Heiden of Ellison Bay sang, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lawrence Weborg, and the pallbearers were Edward, Harry and Kenneth Hilander, Arvid and Maurice Newman and Quinten Lundquist.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Chicago, July 22, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sven Hilander. She and Mr. Anderson were married Jan. 8, 1916, at Sister Bay. She was a member of the WCTU, the Lutheran church and Ladies Aid.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Hilma) Liebstuckel and Mrs. Edward (Julia) Newman, and three brothers, Elmer and Godfrey Hilander of Sister Bay and Arthur Hilander of Glen Ellyn, Ill.
