Alice DeSouza
Alice was born the daughter of Silas and Lucinda (Martin) Franks on May 1, 1937 in Midlothian, TX. She died at Tahlequah, OK on Nov. 17, 2017 at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 16 days.
Growing up in Denton, and Fort Worth TX she attended area schools. On July 31, 1954, she married William DeSouza in Grandbury, TX. His Airforce career had them live in many places across the United States. Alice was a home maker and liked to cook. In 1998 she began work at Cherokee Nursing Center where she was Housekeeping Supervisor before retiring in 2009. Bill and family want a special thanks to Mark Erwin, administrator at C.C.N.C. and the staff for the attention, care, and love given to Alice.
Preceded in Death by her parents, brothers Jackie Franks, Jerry Franks, Steve Franks; and sisters Nancy Jane Franks, and Lucy Parker.
Survived by husband of 63 years, Bill DeSouza, their son, Wallace DeSouza and wife Connie, of Gales Ferry Connecticut; grandchildren, Joshua William and Jessica LeeAnn, as well as many other relatives, friends and loved ones.
