Son of George Washington Jacques-(born in France**FAG Contributor, [email protected] reported that George W. was NOT born in France; his family line was found in Rhode Island before the Revolutionary War.) and mother unknown name; father was early settler of Brown Co., Illinois. Charles' first marriage was to Lena Hasket, and their child was Lucy M. Kirgan who spent most of her adult life in White Hall, Illinois except for the last few years in Roodhouse, Ill; she is buried in the cemetery south of town in White Hall. Charles then married Louisa Cox of Green Co., IL, and they had 4 children: (oldest & youngest died); the two who lived were Belle-(Mrs.Errington Leonard) and Nellie. Charles moved to MO in 1912, spent intervals in the West, and his last years were in western Dent Co., MO.
