William L. Starr, 68 of Woodbury, retired automobile, service Station operator, died Thursday March 20, in Good Samaritan Hospital here of a heart attach.
Funeral services were at 2 PM Saturday at the Woodbury Church of Christ, with Charley Powell officiation, Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home In charge of arrangements.
Mr. Starr was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a native of Cannon County, son of the late Tom and Elsie Barrett Starr. He was a former member of the Huntsville, Ala. Sheriff's force. He ran a service station in town for several years.
He is survived by a son, Gordon Starr, Burmingham, Ala. two daughters, Mrs Claude Wilcher, Woodbury, Mrs. Tommy Howard, Huntsville, Ala. brother H. D. Starr, VA two sisters Mrs. Alex Todd and Mrs W.F. Parker, Woodbury. Four grandchildren.
