Helen "Sammy" E. Berg died peacefully on November 6, 2017 at the age of 91 in Bloomington IN where she moved in 2015 to be near family. Sammy was born as Helen Weichert on June 22, 1926 in Chamberlain, SD to Frederick and Ethel (Hutchinson) Weichert. She was formerly from Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Berg, sons Michael and Scott Berg, brothers Robert and Herbert Weichert and sister Joyce Dost. She is survived by sons Craig and Steven Berg; brothers, Dean and Richard Weichert and sister Sandra Graham; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Private arrangements are being made at ALLEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, BLOOMINGTON, IN. No services are planned.
