Marvin Gibson
As we fear God more completely, we love Him more perfectly.
And “perfect love” casteth out all fear.

Marvin Gibson of 5542 Grammercy Drive SW, Atlanta, GA, formerly of Newark, NJ was born April 28th, 1960 to the late Elizabeth Jeannette Hill-Gibson and Bobby Gene Gibson in Augusta, Georgia. On September 16th, 1991, he married the love of his life, Janice Baldwin in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Marvin enjoyed the most important aspects of life; being around family and preaching the good word. You could also find Marvin in his study; reading, playing music and dancing.
Always and forever trusting in the Lord, Marvin never failed to live a life full of faith and education. He graduated from the Weequahic High School in Newark, NJ in 1978. After graduating from high school, Marvin joined the United States Army where he became medical lab technician. While in the army, he was able to travel throughout the U.S. Territories and abroad. He received a "Good Conduct" Medal and an "Overseas Service Ribbon" for his time served in Germany. In 1986, Marvin received an honorable discharge as a SGT (E5). Not only did Marvin graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, he furthered his education and received a Masters of Divinity Degree from Calvary Grace Church of Faith in Florida. Marvin had the opportunity to preach in several churches all around Florida, Georgia, Hawaii and Massachusetts to name a few. He was initiated and raised in 2004 as a Master Mason of Cosmopolitan Lodge No. 1 F.&A.M., one of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall’s Affiliations (Grand Lodge) of Hawaii and Its Jurisdiction Inc.
An exceptional Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and Friend, was Marvin. He sought the greatness in people and never failed to help others.
