Dannie M. "Dana" Washington, 50, of 80 Princeton Ave., died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Gerald W. Washington.
She was employed at the Elmwood Censors as a tester for five years until her illness a year ago. She was a member of the Hood Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church; a member of its Gospel Chorus; its usher board; the Pastor's Aid Society and the Missionary Society.
She was born in Reform, Ala., a daughter of the late Silas and Mary (Rozell) Wells. She was a Providence resident for 29 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, a daughter, four sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.
