Retta Ann Hubbard Anderson passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at The Heart Hospital Baylor Denton in Denton, Texas.
Ann was born on June 26, 1943 in Goodnight, Texas.
She is the daughter of Retta Lemonte Hubbard and William Cleo Hubbard of Goodnight, Texas.

Ann was a long-time resident of Grapevine, Texas. She was an avid reader who enjoyed literature ranging from romance novels to western history. Ann was born at the Goodnight home on the Y Bar Ranch in Goodnight, Texas where she loved horseback riding and buffaloes. Ann worked for the American Quarter Horse Association, which quickly became her favorite job. She later worked for the United States Postal Service and retired in 2009. Ann loved spending time with family and visiting with friends. She never knew a stranger and befriended everyone she met. Ann’s bright smile instantly lit up every room she entered. She was known to drop everything to watch the Dallas Cowboys play football on Sunday or sing along to any Elvis Presley song.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Joyce Cory.

Ann is survived by her sons and their wives, David and Susan Anderson of Flower Mound, Texas and Lance and Cherie Anderson of Makawao, Hawaii; grandchildren Jared Anderson, Shelby Costello and husband Brandon, and Blake Anderson of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters Montie Goodin of Goodnight, Texas, and Lugenia Carter of Amarillo, Texas.
