Betty J. Armstrong, 70, of Burlington, passed away am, November 15, 2017, at her home. Betty was born July 25, 1947, in Logansport, to Harold and Pearl (Hassler) Morrison. Her mother survives. On August 16, 1975, she married Joseph L. Armstrong. He preceded her in death December 15, 2013.
Betty was a 1965 Carroll High School graduate. Betty was a homemaker, and she worked as a medical receptionist for various physicians. She was a member of Faith Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, especially to feel sand between her toes.
Survivors include her children, Michael Walker, of Louisville, KY, Valerie (Michael) Stout, of Bringhurst, Amanda (Jason) Blunt, of Burlington, and Joseph (Winnie) Armstrong, of Burlington; her mother, Pearl Morrison, of Burlington; grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Alexa Stout, Carson Stout, Devier Meriwether, Avery Armstrong, Reagan Armstrong, Felicity Blunt, and Samuel Blunt; great-grandchildren, Casen Stout and Madden Stout; and two brothers, Bill Morrison (Marilyn) and Kenneth Morrison (Nancy).
Preceded in death by her father.
Services , November 20, 2017, at Faith Church of Christ, 1701 South Michigan Street, Burlington, with Pastor Michael Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, November 19, 2017, also at the church.
