Richard S. Roderick Sr. of Plymouth ,died on November 15th after a long illness. He is the father of Robin R. Roderick of Plymouth, Mark A. Roderick of Carver and Richard S. Roderick of New Bedford. Brother of Robert Roderick of Plymouth, Joseph Roderick of Florida, Bella Ann Bent of Kingston and Mary Armstrong of Plymouth. Grandfather of Kyle, Bethany and Mason.

Born in Plymouth on February 10, 1937 son of the late Joseph and Jessie (Bratti) Roderick he was educated in Plymouth he went on the serve in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. Richard joined the Plymouth Police Department and was a Patrolman for 26 years. A member of the US Army National Guard and the Bible Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Friday November 24th at 11:30 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours. Memorial donations in his name made be made to American Diabetes Association
