Enoch P. Steffler, 82, of 184 Brandon Ave., died Sunday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Woolwich Township, she was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Steffler. A Kitchener resident for 60 years, he was employed at J.M. Schneider Ltd. For over 30 years and retired 10 years ago. He was a member of the firm's 25-Year Club and the Golden Age Group. He was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Annie Schlender, died in 1955. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy and Mrs. Peter (Vearl) Ernest, and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Emma) Roehr, all of Kitchener; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One son, Reginald, died in 1958 and another son, Irvin, died in infancy. One brother, Lincoln and two sisters also predeceased him. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. A.J. Baetz. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
