Amy was born October 20, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to George and Dorothy Haney. She attended public schools in Beaumont and was a member of the 1973 graduating class of Houston's Westchester High School. Amy enrolled in Kilgore College where she met the love of her life, Mike Clements. Amy wanted to be a mother from a young age and when God gave them Michael she was an over achiever in being a mom. Mrs. Clements loved helping others, especially children. She was not only a mom to Michael, but to anyone who needed anything. Amy loved animals and particularly her dogs Lucy and Iris. Mrs. Clements was a prayer filled Godly woman. She and her family were members of Crosspoint Fellowship Church of Kilgore.
Mrs. Clements is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mike Clements of Liberty City; her son, Michael Clements, Jr. and his wife, Katelyn of Longview; three sisters, Dr. Cynthia Jordan, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Cheryl Senter of Houston, Robyn Pledger of Santa Fe, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Chatham Haney, Jr.
