Such a very sad day, Nov. 13, 2017, we lost our loving mother, grandmother & friend, Susan O. Shaw. Sue was born on Oct. 2, 1944 to "Chuck" & "Ginnie" (Demke) Oettinger. Married her Murray High School sweetheart, Curtis Lynn Shaw, on Sept. 9, 1967. An amazing women, who persevered through many challenges & was our biggest warrior. Loving her kids and grandkids more than anything. She was kind, caring and selfless; often seen as a second mom to many. She was a Jeopardy wiz, read books daily & loved pizza benders. She will remain in our hearts & memories forever. Say hi to your loving parents, aunts, CJ and Stevie. Love you more than words can say.
She is survived by her kids, Aaron Mike & Angie; and granddaughters, Alyssa & Bailey. Please join us on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for a viewing at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 S. State Street, Murray. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street, Murray. A luncheon will be served afterwards at the Murray Park Ward, 495 East 5600 South, Murray.
