Mrs. Hankins was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Marslin Hankins; one daughter, JoAnn Langston; one son, Ernest L. Hankins; and three sisters, Erma Davis, Mary Riley and Lillie Williams, all of Virginia Beach; one aunt, Edna Touchstone of Virginia Beach; one uncle, the Rev. Wiley Cowell of Moyock, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dr. Ruth Hankins of Bolivia, N.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rehoboth Baptist Church by the Rev. Harry Poole. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
