She was the daughter of Richard Turbeville and Orpha Lane Turbeville, and was the wife of John Knox Jackson.

Death Claims Mrs. Hepsey Jane Jackson

Mrs. Hepsey James Jackson, 89 year old resident of the Manning school district, died Monday afternoon after an illness of two weeks.

Mrs. Jackson has resided in that community for sixty years and she was held in the highest esteem by her neighbors and those of the county whose privilege it was to know her.

Funeral services were conducted at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Pleasant Grove Church by Rev. J. A. Langley and interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ocie Webster, and fives sons, Daniel, John, Jonas, Hugh, and Julius Jackson, all of this county; thirty grandchildren and fifty great grandchildren.
