ADella is the daughter of John Dillon Morgan and Sarah Alabama Johnston and the wife of John Abraham Kimes. ADella and John's children are: Melvin Allen, Thelma M., John Omer, Lee Roy, Floyd Finis, Hazle Viola, and Ora Alvesta.Mrs. Adelia Kimes, 79 years old, City Heights, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Monday, October 21, 1963 in a Van Buren, Arkansas Rest Home. A lifelong resident of Crawford County she was a member of the Baptist Church and had been in failing health for a long time.

Her husband the late J. A. Kimes died in September, 1956.

Survivors are four sons; three daughters, Thelma, Hazel and Vesta; two brothers, John and Fred; one sister; Ray; twenty grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Freedom Church. Roland Atwell and Rupert Pixley were the the officiating ministers. Burial directed by Ocker Funeral Home was in Freedom cemetery.
