Mr. Hunt was born November 16, 1938, in Lee County, MS, to the late Buford and Louise Estes Hunt. He served for nine years in the National Guard and worked for many years in the trucking and transportation industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hudson Hunt.
Survivors included his daughters, Leslie Susan Hunt Gjika of Metairie, LA, and Melissa Lynn Hunt Rehman of South Africa, and brother, Wayne Hunt of Tupelo,MS.
