Barbara Perry, 76, of West Hamlin passed away Saturday November 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1941, to the late Riley and Margaret Slade Spry.

Barbara was a devoted mother to William (Connie)McComas II, Robert (Renea) McComas and Fran McComas. She was a grandmother to Natalie (Paul) Stickler, Robby (Carla) McComas, Megan Caudill, Amber McComas, Emily Miller, and Baylee Adkins. She was a great grandmother to Jacob Hudson, Lexi Stickler, Allisyn Faith Stickler, CJ Smith, Aiden McComas and Kendall McComas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Perry, and her second mother Dorothy Dillon. Barbara’s favorite hobby was singing her praises to the Lord. She, along with her special sister, Edith Wiley, traveled to many churches to share God’s word in song. Barbara loved to make others laugh, she believed in giving people their roses while they were living, and all who knew her, knew her love for “the Q”. The family would like to thank LCOC for the last 5 years of services. A special thanks to the Eplins for being the loving neighbors they were.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday November 17, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.

A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
