Mary Ellen Ford, 67, a resident of 34 East Fourth Street in Oswego, died on March 14 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness. Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Sullivan) LeRoy Sr. She was a graduate of St. Paul's Academy and the Oswego High School. Mrs. Ford had been employed with Marine Midland Bank, and later, worked for Stone and Webster at the Nine Mile site. For the past 20 years, she had been the office manager at St. Mary's Rectory. She enjoyed watching the birds and looking at all her flowers each morning from her kitchen. She also enjoyed trips to the casino and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Donna Bower) Ford of Indianapolis, and Scott (Lori) Ford of Oswego, and a daughter, Melinda (Earl) Ford-Prior of Mexico N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband, George Ford, in 1981, and her brother, Harold LeRoy Jr. in 1986. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 from St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9.
