Robert S. Bivens, Jr., 26, of 410 West 5th St. in Oswego, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Oswego, and was a life resident. He had been employed with his father "Bob the Builder" in the construction business. Mr. Bivens enjoyed the outdoors, and loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Cathy (Bolster) Bivens of Oswego; his father, Robert Bivens Sr. of Oswego; 2 brothers, Michael Bivens and Anthony Bivens, both of Oswego; 4 sisters, Heather Bivens of Baldwinsville, and Sarah Bivens, Michelle Bivens, and Rebecca Bivens, all of Oswego; his paternal grandmother, Alfia Brace of Oswego; his maternal grandmother, Grace DeBrosky of Oswego; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Sunday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm Sunday, at the funeral home, 112 East Second St. Oswego. Contributions can be made to his family, 410 West 5th St., Oswego.
