*I first met Eugene in 1946 at the Lone Wolf school and we were class mates until graduation in 1954. Our parents visited back and forth through the years and also attended the First Baptist Church in Lone Wolf. We were buddies through all the school years and remained so.
He will greatly be missed.

*Our heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to Eugene's family. All our love, Imogene Bass (one of Oscar Monroe Sanders' daughters and sister of Everett) and her son Keith ~ Keith Bass - November 04 at 01:26 PM

*Cousin Eugene was more like an uncle to me. I well remember the first time I met he and "aunt" Beth and all 5 kids! It was a blessed wonderful weekend. I was amazed by all the love---Eugene for Beth and vice versa--and all the kids--everybody got along and loved each other and showed great respect to each other. Growing up as I was, this was very different for me. I always cherished their visits and our trips to OK. "Uncle" Eugene was always what I thought a husband and father should be. I can't think of him and not crack a big smile!!!

*Loving thoughts to you from Aunt Barbara Sanders Murphree in Texas. He was my favorite nephew. I have lots of great memories as teenagers - we would come visit in OK in the summer and he would take me downtown to meet his guy friends. Then I remember when he and Beth married and each of one of you came along. He was so proud and I love every one of you. I will miss his giggle and laughter during our phone calls. Wish we were closer. Lots of Love and prayers, Aunt Barbara and Christi

*When I first met Gene, all his children were still living at home except Connie and Randy. He was a fun dad and so loved all of his children. I remember his pride for each one of you. It was many years later that I had the opportunity to visit with him over a weekend. He went to Florida to Sheldon’s graduation from EOD training. Gene was still full of good humor and caught me up on all family members. I felt so honored that he traveled so far away to honor his nephew. My sincere sympathies to Beth, their children and grandchildren and to W.L, his brother. I know Gene and WL had many good visits and memories over the years.
