The federal mortality schedule indicates Rhoda died in September 1860, but no reason is recorded and no burial site is known. However, Rhoda's father, Hiram Baker, was murdered in 1863 at their farm and was buried in Hughes Cemetery, according to Camden County Historial Society documents. It is probable that Rhoda was also buried in that private cemetery. If so, her grave is now unmarked. After the deaths of Hiram and Rhoda, the family had to leave that farm and moved close to the fish hatchery. Some later Baker family burials were made at Wet Glaize Campground Cemetery there.
