Marcella Martin, 62, of Valdese passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, following a period of declining health.
Marcella was born on April 19, 1955 in Burke County to Ella Mae Settlemyre Martin and the late Virgil McCoy Martin.
She was a member of River of Life Church in Valdese, was previously employed at Alba Waldensian and most recently at Broughton Hospital in the housekeeping department.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Alan King officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
