Charlotte Watson, 71, of Smackover, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Charlotte was retired from Southwestern Bell. She began her career in the business office in El Dorado. She changed positions in the mid 70's and became the first female installer/ repairman in South Arkansas. Charlotte married the love of her life in 1978. They enjoyed traveling all over the United States to attend trapping conventions. They were named Mr. and Mrs. Trapper by the Arkansas Trapper's Association. Charlotte loved her family and was most happy surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Elizabeth Wilson; and her husband of 38 years, Willard Watson.

Survivors include her two children, Kristi Rose (Steve), and Jeffrey A. Williams (Missy); six grandchildren, Leta Johnson (Kurt), Jeffrey Hedges, Taylor Williams (Kaylynn), Kelly Thompson (Paul), Courtney Williams, and Wilson Williams; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, David Wilson (Deborah).

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Young's.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at Silver Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bubba Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
