Bettie Jean Morris, 75, of Bountiful Utah, peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father on October 17th, 2017. Bettie was born in Goldsboro N.C. to Clifton and Emma Taylor on March 17th 1942. She married Jeff Morris on June 10th 1962 in Rocky Mount N.C. having their marriage sealed for time and all eternity at the Salt Lake City Temple in 1972. She retired as an engineer for ATK after more than 25 years. She was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Bettie is preceded in death by her two oldest daughters: Cherri Mitchell and Vicki Jones. Bettie is survived by her husband Jeff Morris, her daughters Chris Morris, Sharyn Morris, and Randi Morris, her grandchildren Jeramy Lopez, Anthony Chamberlin, C.J. Hancock, Cole Hancock, Caylie Hancock, Sara Morris, Christian Howard, Timmy Howard, and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Summer, Adrian, Briia, and Adelyne. Funeral services will begin with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. Monday the 23rd at the Bountiful 12th Ward Chapel located 300 W 1500 N Bountiful, UT 84010. Burial will follow at Bountiful Cemetery.
