WARNERVILLE - Ms. Diane L. Mersincavage, 41, of West Fulton Road, died Monday at the Bassett Healthcare Facility in Cooperstown after a long illness.
Born in New York City, Ms. Mersincavage lived in Howes Cave and in Lindenhurst before moving to Warnerville in 1990. She was a graduate of New Hyde Park High School in Long Island.
She worked for the Castro Convertible Co. many years ago. She was also a homemaker.
Ms. Mersincavage was a member of the Adullam Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph M. and Peter S. Gaida, both of Warnerville; her companion of 19 years, Joseph P. Gaida; a sister, Joanne Gentile of Mantua, N.J.; and a brother, Robert Mersincavage of Walton.
