He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Dava Sue, children, Kevin Allen O’Brien, Kayla Sue (Chris) Davis, parents, Allen and Ollie, siblings, Kathy, Pam and Pat, mother & father-in-law Allen and Karen Leep, father & mother-in-law David and Mary Popp, several nieces & nephews. Shawn was a loyal employee of Hanson Rock Quarry Coopers Lane of 28 years where he served as maintenance foreman. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment, working on vehicles, building and remodeling homes and pole barns. Shawn’s talents were many, he could fix anything, he was very mechanically inclined. Shawn loved working on his farm, deer hunting, fishing and boating on Dale Hollow Lake. Shawn was a believer and baptized in Christ, member of Safe Harbor Christian Church and lifetime member of the NRA.
