Brenda Kay, died in St. Louis Children's Hospital where she had been receiving treatment for tuberculosis of the spine. She had been ill for two months.
She was survived by her father and mother, Francis and Margaret Bearden Wright; and paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs Raymond Wright.
The body laid in state at the Raymond Wright home, 307 North Douglas Street.
