I have found 2 different versions of the spelling of her name Cynthia and Synthia. Two headstones seeming to be her children in Palmyra, MO has parents as A (Aaron) and S (Synthia).

Cynthia was the daughter of Peter and Abigail Pinkstone (spelling of last name according to Marion County Herald - 8 May 1890).
She was married to Aaron Mefford 09 August 1857 and of that union were born 5 children, Laura V., Alphonso P., Levi David, Aaron O., and Sidney Luther.

Mrs. Synthia Mefford, wife of Aaron Mefford, of Withers' Mill, Marion County, MO., departed this life on Friday, May 2d, 1890, and was buried in this city Sunday morning last, Rev. W. F. Harris conducting the funeral exercises.
Mrs. Mefford was the daughter of Peter and Abigail Pinkstone. She was born Feb. 1st, 1833; was married Aug. 9th, 1857. Some thirteen years ago she was "born again" and found a congenial church house in the Providence Baptist church, of which she remained a consistent member up to the time of her death. Mrs. Mefford was a faithful wife and a loving mother. She leaves a husband, five children, two sisters and ann aged mother to mourn her departure.
