Robert H. Loy, age 81, of Knoxville, left his earthly home and went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 11, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Robert (Bob) was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Loy Coach Company. Bob was also very active in the Knox County Sheriff's Department with the SCAN program. He loved to travel and see God's Creation. He was a man of high integrity and morals beyond reproach. He loved God, his family and his friends. He was very kind hearted and always went out of his way to serve others and was a true example of the life of a Christian. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Edna Loy; infant son, Steven Loy; sisters, Mary Jeanne Gotcher and Karen Sue Loy. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Brenda Loy; son and daughter in law, Robert H. Loy, Jr. (Beth); daughter, Teresa O'Neil; daughter and son in law, Kim Dyer (Michael); son, Michael Loy; grandchildren, Greg O'Neil (Leslie), Lindsey Delmark (Chris), Jennifer Semishko (Matt), Derek Vandergriff, Melissa Watson (Jimbo), and Amy Stephens (Ross); seventeen well-loved great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 14 from 5 - 8 pm at Sevier Heights Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Rev. Charlie McNutt will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Wednesday for the 11am graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers Greg O'Neil, Derek Vandergriff, Jimbo Watson, Matt Semishko, Mike Malcolm, and Charlie Wright.
