He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley A. Shelton; grandparents, W.H. and Hazel Morgan and Roscoe and Laura Shelton.
He is survived by his father, Ray Shelton; brothers, Rev. Greg (Renee) Shelton, Gary (Penny) Shelton and Larry Shelton; 5 grandchildren; girlfriend, Angela Bowlin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 7:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Stacy Lawson and Rev. Tim Walker officiating. Interment 2:00 PM Friday in Mitchell Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
